The mission of All Nations Sports Academy is to transform and empower youth and their families of all nations through soccer.
Thank you for your interest in All Nations Sports Academy (ANSA). ANSA is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides soccer-playing opportunities for boys and girls. ANSA offers developmental, recreational and competitive programs with the aim to develop youth players on and off the field.
Our founder, Marcelo Galvao, is a native of Brazil and a lifelong footballer, playing the beautiful game at the collegiate, semi-pro, and professional levels. A graduate of Judson College, Marcelo holds a B.A. in Sports Management and multiple Professional Coaching licenses, working with private and public organizations in the U.S., Brazil, Europe, and Asia. One of his greatest passions is to leave a positive legacy and to make his life count, and ANSA allows him to combine his passion for ministry with the sport he lives and breathes.
Ernande Santos graduated from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2005. He was born in Brazil and came to the United States more than 20 years ago. He is a proud to be an American citizen, husband to Dr. Katia Lemke, and father to his son, Samuel. He currently works as the manager of his family business and as a commercial real estate entrepreneur. He feels privileged to serve children through the work of ANSA and to give those children the great opportunity he had to hear the Gospel.
Flavio Beato is a supply chain professional with over 12 years of experience. Flavio was born and raised in Brazil and, as such, is naturally a soccer fan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a post-graduate degree in International Commerce and Supply Chain. He moved to Houston 2013 and became involved with ANSA. Currnetly, he works as an Operations Manager for Noble Americas Resource Corp, an international trading company.
Tena Robotham is a 1978 graduate of Judson University and is currently serving as the executive assistant to the president, a role that she has served since August 2009. Additionally, she serves as the assistant secretary to the Board of Trustees. She has held many different positions at Judson in years past, including secretary to the vice-president of Advancement, donor secretary, alumni coordinator, and secretary to the vice-president of Academic Affairs. Tena has also been alumni president.
Tena and her husband, George, currently reside in Elgin, Illinois. They are active members of First Baptist Church of Elgin. Their son, Richard, and his wife Carly, are both graduates of Judson University.
Catherine Bryant Crath is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with a double degree in Social Work and Anthropology. Upon graduation, Cathy served for two years as a front-line worker for Child Protective Services in Toronto, Canada and then specialized in Marriage and Family Therapy. A work transfer overseas for Cathy’s husband lead her to practice as an expatriate counselor and educator on culture shock and stress management for multinational companies and expatriate employees. This experience extended to Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Mexico for a total of 15 years, enhancing her world perspective and appreciation for other cultures. Since being repatriated to the USA, Cathy and her husband have become adoptive parents to three African American children, one of whom has considerable special needs. While being a mother is the most wonderful and rewarding experience of all, it has also contributed to Cathy’s sensitivity to the stresses and trials that all individuals experience in life and her desire to walk along side others in their struggles.
J. Barry Hart, Jr.
Barry Hart is a real estate strategy consultant working with clients, developing strategies for investments, short-term private accommodations, and alternate building solutions. Barry has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Houston. Prior to founding his own business, Barry served for 21 years as Director at Fiesta Mart, Inc. reporting to the President of this Houston-based supermarket corporation. Prior to Fiesta, Barry served in campus development with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for nine years, working with students at UT El Paso, New Mexico State University, and Rice University. Barry is married to his Texas Longhorn wife, Kathryn, with whom he has three adult children and six grandchildren. Barry and Kathryn live in the Richmond suburb of Houston and are active in their church and in the home school community.
Michael Welch is the Treasurer for Group 1 Automotive, a public auto dealership group with operations in the US, UK, and Brazil. He received this Finance and Accounting degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and has 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Michael lives in Sugar Land with his wife and 2 children and is active in his church as a small group leader and high school boys leader.
Chris Henry grew up in Bossier City, LA and attended Louisiana Tech University where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering. He moved to Houston to work for Flour Daniel and later met his wife, Julie. They have 3 boys and are members of Sugar Creek Baptist. Chris is a deacon at his church and active in LYF student ministry as a 7th grade Sunday morning teacher and 9th grade LYF group leader. He currently works at Zachry in Business Development and manages Zachary's Houston Engineering Office.
